Church Street
The main attraction here is a tri-level complex featuring different bars on each floor. On the ground floor, Chillers, which takes its name from the unique frozen drinks they serve, features a DJ spinning the latest in Top 40 music. On the mid-level, Big Belly Brewery provides a laid-back atmosphere with big barrels of peanuts as bar food. Latitudes, a rooftop bar that often features live reggae music, boasts a great view of the Orlando skyline.
Thornton Park In Downtown Orlando this famed neighborhood has an abundance of nightclubs, restaurants and bars, and comes to life at night. Located in the nearby trendy Thornton Park neighborhood, approximately one mile from the center of downtown, and includes hotspots such as Dexter’s, Grafitti Junction and Hue.
International Drive and Pointe Orlando By day, International Drive is a bustling street with not-to-be-missed attractions, shopping and restaurants. By night, the bright lights of I-Drive shine for an evening of vast entertainment options. Pointe Orlando, a large shopping and entertainment complex down the street from Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center, is a one-stop shop for nighttime entertainment.
Restaurant Row Take a drive down Sand Lake Road and you’ll find more than 20 restaurants within one mile, many of which feature live music. Timpano Italian Chophouse, Samba Room, Vines Grille & Wine Bar, Seasons 52 and Press 101 provide music and entertainment in an upscale environment.
The Mall at Millenia Blue Martini at The Mall at Millenia is the perfect place for visitors to relax and enjoy a specialty drink and appetizer after a full day of shopping. The popular lounge offers both indoor and outdoor seating and live entertainment during the evenings.
Downtown Disney Long after the theme parks have closed for the evening, the nightlife options at Walt Disney World are still going strong. At night, guests can club hop at Downtown Disney, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex with a big city feel in the heart of Walt Disney World.
Orlando was among just a handful of U.S. cities to develop its own underground DJ and dance music scene parallel to the U.K. during the late-’80s and early-’90s, helping shape its world-class nightlife well into this decade.
